Rear black out panel? Or honecomb? OR???
Hey guys, my 05 GT is going in newt week for a make-over, new hood, chin spoiler, duct tail, ETC, also getting a super snake stripe painted on. Im not sure what to do with the panel between the tail lights. It has the black factory decal now. I was thinking about taking the decal off and having that painted black, or should I go with the honeycomb panel? Or is there another option? Any advise would be appreciated. Pics of yours would be great to.

Since you are getting stripes, Id wait to see how you like the lok with stripes only. Then after a week or so, put the blackout pannel on just to see how it looks, It might clash with the stripes, it might not. If you like the look, go honeycomb and dont look back. Its classy lookin so it might fit with your look since you got the louvers and ducktail

I like the idea of getting the stripe painted through that area then maybe getting the honeycomb panel and actually seeing it both ways to see which looks better. I do have pics but I cant post attachments yet. Or maybe I just havnt figured out how to...

^^ that is true. I didnt see he mentioned he was getting the elenor style grille. In that case, get the CDC one. If you were keepin the stock grille id say get the honeycomb, but you gotta keep it matched. Honeycomb front with honeycomb rear, and billit bar bront, and cdc bar rear. Mix n match dosent flow, imo.
