GET THAT OLD SCHOOL EXHAUST SOUND!!!

The problem I see with the mid-mounted flowmaster setups mentioned in the vids is that the cross-pipe of the H-pipe is too long, and creates a trumpeting type sound like it's trying to pop, but instead sounds like a sheet of roofing tin being blown in the wind.
My BBK shorty headers with my Bassani street mufflers did the trick for me.

There are many frustrating things about the S197, and exhaust design is number one. I should've bought a New edge and saved a lot of money and headaches. Then again...I didn't know anything about either car at the time.

Yea but then it would take a new edge with full bolt ons to be in our stock range...so you give up the nice sound for more powah...always look on the bright side.

Yeah...right! 4:10's,Brenspead 93 tune, suspension upgraded and a CAI. You may not like to race but I bet you like to go fast...varrooom! (sweet car by the way!)
Try a pair of Spintech's axle back's,they bark like a bull at the peanut farm.

Spintech's are ugly as heck but I have them on my '82 Corvette and they sound deep as hell.
