I never did get around to getting the deep pan.
and at this point in the game probably wont.
not sure how many more years I will keep the 05. New 5.0 calling my name.

Still driving the 05, 170,000 miles and going strong, still runs good

Transmission Fluid Replacement
If you are just changing your fluid and filter on this sealed unit and assuming there were no leaks, couldn't you just measure the amount of fluid that was drained and then refill with that same amount? Just a thought
