Doing it on your back in the driveway with a hand pump pretty much sucks.......LOL

Thank God I have a deep pan now with a dipstick. Shady, glad to see your still going strong with 135k.....WOW!!

I never did get around to getting the deep pan.
and at this point in the game probably wont.

not sure how many more years I will keep the 05. New 5.0 calling my name.

Default Transmission Fluid Replacement

If you are just changing your fluid and filter on this sealed unit and assuming there were no leaks, couldn't you just measure the amount of fluid that was drained and then refill with that same amount? Just a thought
