Need some help on which supercharger
I decided to get a suprcharger but I need some help. I am leaing towards a centri most likely vortech. my question is how much more work is it to install a louder bov and around what will it cost for everything icluding the vortech itself and install. and has anyone in nj had shop install there supercharger?

I know people are gonna say don't get it jut for the sound but if im gonna spend the money I want something diffeent and that in gonna like. and I like the idea of having a s197 with the bov sound because I don't see many around

I'm not 100% sure but I dont think the vortech kit even has a blow off valve, on my paxton 2200 kit it has 2 bypass valves that recirculate the air, the only time you need to get bigger bypass valves is if your going to up the boost to more than 12lbs or so. the whole loud blow off valve thing is really an import fad, hell they even have different baffles you can put in to make it sound different when the air is escaping. GAY.

+1 of the BOV being an import fad. Realy not cool on a mustang IMO.
I could be wrong here, but I'm pretty sure that the BOV is part of a turbo system. I've never heard of anyone having a BOV on a supercharged car.

i know you can have it on a centri supercharger but not positive how to do it but im pretty sure it can replace the bypass with the bov as long as its before the maf. And i know people are not going to like but if i am gonna spend the money i want something that i like and that alot of people dont have.

not that familiar w/ it myself. but from the sounds of your OP, you want it to be different and make a different sound. not really a good reason for getting a SC. but vortech is a good SC, which kit are you looking at getting?
