Default Calling Pro's, Ford Tech? What is behind the passenger kick panel?

I am about to vomit.
To begin this fiasco of a post I first need to know what is the "module" or computer or electronic piece on the passenger side floor board behind the kit panel? Is it the brain of the car, the computer that runs every thing.

there is a fuse box back there. not sure what else.

Not sure its a fuse box.
It has wire harness running to it.
Says Ford p/n 5r3t-14B476-BE...cant find it when I search.

What is that?

Looks like the fuse box to me...Look up fuse in your owner's manual and see if it takes you to what you are looking at. There were some other modules by the fuses that I did not know what they were the last time I was in the fuse panel...

that cover comes off and there are fuses in there. the cover is a pita to get off though

Okay. I thought the fuse's where under the hood in the black rectangle...they are fuses Im sure of it...I thought that was all for them.
