Mellowyellow is running the same nxtgeneration as mine with his Trufiber hood with no issues...

I bought them from UPR and never installed them. Didnt like the way they were to be installed and for me I just use a rod to prop up the hood when I need to do something.

I don't like the look in the link and have seen them before but not on any car around me.
I have the Redline tuning ones and they work very well...you can get them in black or the Elites are polished....I can post pics if asked just let me know

Here is a pic on a GT500


and a link to the website...life time warranty for the gas shocks I believe (not far from me either)

that would be a great fathers day gift and the customer service is excellent...I dealt with the owner of the company and he responded to an email in like a few hours max...great guys over there.

They appear to be the same ones that are on Trufiber's website that are recommended for use with their fiberglass hoods.

those dont even look good 2 me... draw 2 much attention 2 them.. i would rather someone look at my engine then my hood prop
