2. Most Muffler shops carry them
3. They go in after the x-pipe about mid way to where your mid pipe bend to go over your axle. If you were looking at your car they would be located toward the rear of your door or right about where rear edge of your door meets your body at.

i wouldnt turn anyone away from the borla exhaust it sounded awesome before the o/r x, it was reall deep and throaty just wasnt loud enough for me i guess. my buddy has flows on his 05 and im not a big fan just not loud at all, they tend to sound better on the 04's and older. im gonna try the resonators this weekend i think im gonna go with the dynomax rresonators they are pretty inexpensive i will let everyone know how that works out

The dynomax resonators should help some. too bad your not closer..id sell you a set cheap! bought them when i had an O/R pipe, but never installed them! sound-wise I think youd be better off with hi-flow cats though..resonators only tame it down a little bit!

Sorry to ask my own question here but it sort of relates... I have an 09 GT Convertible. I am curious as to what you guys would think of having the Bassani Race Axlebacks with the Bassani Catted X-pipe? Would there be any drone or does it really matter since it is convertible? Would it sound good? I have looked thorugh most of the exhaust post and none mention this setup!

Brenspeed told me that you can still get trumpeting out of a high flow catted midpipe. It's not a guaranteed cure all. Their cars still do it.
Frankly for the price some of these high end exhaust kits cost, like Kooks or ARH, it's a crime they don't have resonators pre-installed in the midpipes that are included. It's an extra step, an extra expense, and when you are already paying a metric *** ton it's kind of a frickin ripoff to end up having to go out and buy resonators aftermarket then have them welded in.
