[QUOTE=Tommy46301;6097719]I had Brenspeed install KOOKS LT Headers, Catt'd X with CORSA axlebacks on my '08 SHELBY GT. Absolutely awesome sound, fit and quality. You will not regrete this install. And with COMP Thumper Cams.....LOOK OUT, here I come![/Q

Yep, I have Kooks Ceramic Long Tubes with High Flow Catted H-Pipe
and Borla's on my ' 07 GT. I fully agree that you can't beat the sound,
fit and quality. And, oh yah, I can't wait for my friends at Steeda to install my FRPP "Hot Rod" cams tomorrow..!!

Even if it was just parts and that included everything you need it is still quite a bit cheaper than Kooks are on most of the places that have them for sale.
Yes parts an labor came out to $925.65 for everything bought and installed.

- MAC Ceramic Coated Headers: $330 Shipped (eBay)
- MAC Axle-Back Muffler's: Trade for my MagnaPacks which were $230
- O/R H-Pipe: I reused my factory H-Pipe, Cut the cats off, rewelded the flanges, made some new slots for the rear o2 sensors, then hooked it up $50
- Installation was $315.65, which included taking everything off my old setup, cutting the h-pipe, installing the headers, and the set of stage 8 locking header bolts, and best of all, the guy gave me a written lifetime warranty against the leaking of the manifolds

I would look into the ARH as well. Either way they are both top notch.

lol yup! All my stuff though was from bargain hunting, but that's the way you have to be especially in today's economy... as a matter of fact, if things get bad enough, you might be able to have headers installed for like $50 lol

Hehe a good job done for $300 would make me happy. I'll probably do my own on jack stands. It'll just end up taking me forever because I'm not mechanically inclined and extremely inexperienced. Honestly my only real concern is getting the engine up. I don't have a hoist and I'm not real thrilled about sticking a jack underneath the oil pan and lifting/pushing from there. Not sure how else you'd do it though.

My mechanic put them on for me and he didn't even have to move the motor, he just jacked the car up, did alot of knuckle scraping, and after 2 hours, my car was a beast lol.

I'm shocked. Every writeup I've seen and every time anyone talks about putting LT's on in this forum they say the engine needs to get up at least a little bit to access some of the bolts on one side or the other.

I stood and watched the whole process unfold and at no point was the motor moved. He removed the steering column and got right in there. I dont have any of the tools he used or a lift for that matter, so the cost associated was well worth my money. We checked for leaks and none whatsoever, the stage 8 locking header bolts are a must though to prevent any further headache from happening
