Default Got a Bullitt! Whats the most retro exhaust?

Simple question I think... I am looking to keep it classy and close to stock with a few exceptions. Right now I am thinking JBA's if anyone thinks there is something better for the old school muscle sound please speak now or forever speak about it behind my back... haha

The stock exhaust is designed to be retro, it's the only exhaust made that's acoustically tuned to do that.

People always want to switch mufflers thinking that they will improve the sound of their car, and make it louder, but in 99% of cases only result in one of those things happening.

Instead buy a set of shorty headers approved for california. Unless you are dissatisfied with the stock sound not just your noise level.

wait I wasnt keeping up with your other thread. So what happened to the red stang?

Are you looking for headers, mid-pipe, or mufflers?

Cat-Backs or Axle-Backs... Red Stang was totaled. The stock exhaust is beautiful but I need it a bit louder not different per say... just louder... JBA's seem closest to that..

Why not headers? They'll cost you $300 more in the end but you get 12 more hp and a sound that can't be matched with just mufflers.

Hey... i know i'm the only 2 valve in here so far, but check out the thread by "mlcrycc".

He has a 3 valve with the SSS axleback (think 1968 Bullitt soundtrack!)

I say keep the stock mufflers since there designed to have the retro sound. Just add an o/r H.
