Probably airplane-like 3.31's. 3.73's are now an "option" on the 2010. You would probably be happy with 3.73's. 4.10's are steep, I have to admit. You definitely give up drivability to have low end GRUNT with 4.10's. They keep me honest.. no driving over 70mph for me so no speeding tickets. I get in enough trouble 0-60.

People are lucky if I run them to 80mph on the street. Dig is where I lie.

Man,I hope I don't hate my 4.10's. I'm having them installed next Friday. I've been driving at 85 mph everyday to work to see what it will be like at 70 and decided its very livable. If you want 3.55's, I'll sell mine for $50 and shipping.

Very interesting pnut.

1st question is what mods do you have? Since you are on the stock tires I will assume close to stock.

I had your exact exhaust combo, MM system and 4.10s. I did think after several thousand miles the mufflers broke in and started droning at about 2500-2700 rpm.

I would change exhaust before I lose my 4.10s. The increased in low end grunt and the third gear pull is worth more to me than a loud exhaust at hwy speeds.

My exhaust combo now is louder and the added power is awesome. Crank the radio up a notch and put wider tires and enjoy.

Your exhaust is stock except for the pypes MM? I think you might have an exhaust leak somewhere or you have oversensitive hearing. Mine is hardly annoying or even loud at 2600rpms. I also don't understand skipping 1st gear. I always use first and while I can't stab it in 1st gear, I can give it a good amount of throttle. Skip 3rd? Why would anyone skip third with 4.10's, that's the best gear.

I bought a manual because I like shifting gears, so no problem there. Plus I'm familiar with manual transmissions and autos just have me scratching my head.

Cool! They look shiny too.

So yeah those bigger tires would make 3.90 like 3.73 on stock size which would be good.

Or maybe I'll just say screw it and get their 5.14:1 LOL

I wonder what that would be like.

I was still waffling between the 3.73s and 4.10s on my way to the shop this morning, lol. They always have them in stock and I didn't have to pre-pay anything, so I could have changed my mind easily. Granted I haven't beaten the car yet with the 3.73s, but the handful of throttle stabs and short bursts at 50% throttle have me believing that my decision to go 3.73 was a smart one. I don't believe I would have liked the 4.10s...

I've got CAI and Bama tune 93 performance.

I would much rather keep the exhaust than the gears. I really like the sound of the Pypes MM. They have gotten louder, but that's ok. No leaks.

Get better tires and drive 70 or 80.. not 75.

What are the temperatures like where you live? If it's still cold, it's going to be hard to hook first. Once the pavement gets some spring heat you should be able to hook. I hook just fine with my crappy worn stock tires unless it's cold outside, in which case I'll spin all the way through first and second.

This thread is eye opening for me. Everyone rants and raves about 4.10's and I was considering them but now I think I'll go with 3.90. I have a very loud exhaust and don't want the same issues as the OP.
