Need REAL QUICK opinions... GTS-3 Hood SS stripe on vents
#11
Im confused I thought the ss stripes ran on the inside of the vents not through them? Maybe its the diff dimensions of the diff hood but for some reason your middle stripe looks fatter then normal to my eyes.
I would paint through the vents IMO it looks like something is wrong how it starts and picks back up.

That's what fugg things up.
And to the OP, yes, go through with the stripes.

His stripe size looks to be close to mine but, since I picked a color other than black mine looks good without going threw the vents. My advice would be to go threw your vents or paint the vents black. Either way it will look good.

Thanks Cutter, I was hoping you would chime in on this because I thought we had close to the same size stripes. I agree yours looks good like that because of the lighter color (ghost effect) and with the bold black... I have to do something different. Looks like 50/50 with thoughts of painting them black and going through with just the stripe. I think I will get the painters opinion on my lunch today as well! Thanks everybody!

My vote is for the pin stripe contiue. The Super Snake vents are outside the lines of it's pin stripe so the vents are independent visual accents.
I think the full painted vents would look more like a mutation than an accent with the vents painted and merged with the pin stripe.
The black vents on CutterWolf's post look pretty good though, due to the contrast of colors used. The black vents still remain independent accents in that scheme.
