Default Tire Pressure bands

Are the factory ones reusable? Thanks to the roads here in NJ, I bent one of my bullits and need to replace it. Saw the ones on American Muscle and all they look like is really large hose clamps. Are the factory ones like this? If not, anyone know what a new band costs from the dealer?

Thanks

The factory bands are a one time use only. Nice thing about the big hose clamps is they are reusable for your next set of wheels. The factory must use a special tool to fasten the bands that come stock.

No, the factory bands are not. AM sells the band kits (band, mount and adhesive) for about $17/kit when I bought mine about 1 year ago.

The OEM clamps from the factors are one time use.
The stealership uses big hose clamps when
replacing OEM sensor cradles on rims.
They are available elsewhere for cheaper.

American Muscle has the bands, sensors, programmer and a DVD with instructions for $150 shipped. This is what I used:

You can buy just the bands for $30 for a set of 2:

My buddy just bought the whole kit from American Muscle and I WOULD NOT recommend it. The bands are very cheap and one broke on his drive home. Moreover, the little computer sync tool is garbage and didn't work either.

My bands worked fine, and I synced the sensors myself in the garage in 2 minutes with zero issues. The sync tool is a Ford part...

My friend got the kit also from A.M. and worked perfect. I used the tool on 3 cars and that worked perfect also.
