Default Hood issue

I just notice a few days ago that my paint on my hood is piling I guess the term would be. I heard a while back people talking about it on here and am wondering what options do I have to fix this. Looks like it may just be the clear coming off and is as of now, a few small spots. Any ideas????

I am no longer in my warranty if this helps. I have 35k miles on it as well. Am I going to have to repaint the whole hood or what?

The paint is part of an unbroadcasted extended warranty. Take it to your dealer and make a formal complaint. I had the same problem and Ford replaced the hood and paid for the body shop to paint and install it. With blending the fenders and replacing the fender emblems, it ran about $1600 all total. It took them a couple of month and two estimates for Ford to decide to repair it.
