So any opinions on just using the door 8's?

I would like a little more bass and a cleaner sound. I only listen to my iphone in my 07 so the Skipper 500 doesnt bother me.

I would like to get the shelby 8" door subs and replace the 6x8's with something decent from Crutchfield. I will leave the backs alon as they are really just fill.

I am reading here that the supplemental amp feeds extra power to the door subs. How well do they work without it? Still an improvement from stock?

If it comes with a recommendation from cutter you can take it to the bank. its been on my list just waiting for some funds to throw at it.

The shelby store has them, i ordered mine from champion mustang but they turned out to be in back-order so the wait is just killing me

I got my subs in friday but they have no specs on them, but they do sound good.
