Has anyone installed them on their own??? My dad has plenty of tool and hes a mechanic for delta so he knows his way around a bit. Do you have to pull the motor for shorties? If so, should i just get LTs?

thats the same question i have now. I know for a fact long tubes are a "better" decision but they have more fitment issues and you cant use your stock cats. Adds to the price quite a bit. I think if i do the install myself I'll go with shorties. i'm im gonna put up the cash to have them installed for me i'll probably just bit the bullet and go with long tubes. I dont know though, I think long tubes would be more worth it.

I installed my jba shorties by myself with the front wheels on ramps and the rear on jack stands. It is time consuming, but not hard. There are others who just installed theirs as well by themselves.
