87,91 and 93 brenspeed tune review
i ran all 3 tunes today, to me the 87 tune is the best. the 87 tune pulls hard out of the hole and has great street manners. the 91 tune is a strange tune, it almost drives like you have a 4 bbl carb and a sound of its own. pops and crackles bet shifts, but at idle souds like it has a mild cam. the 91 tune is a slug out of the hole. sound wise i like the 91 tune. now the 93 tune to me is close to the 87 tune, but if you dont have top shelf gas it will ping easy. so i am sticking with the 87 tune, i will load the 91 tune only for the sound. i done with the 93 tune.

I have all 3 tunes.
I have run 87 with 87+ gas and I felt some loss of power vs 93 with 93+ gas. You are not supposed to run 93 tune with less than 93 octane gas.
I have not loaded my 91 yet as this octane gas is not available in my area.

im runnin Bama so i don't know how different they are from Brenspeed
87 = throttle response is night and day over stock, but thats about it
89 = torque tune = best one for a DD
93 = race tune = not a huge difference over the 89 tune IMO.

The best way to test the tunes is at a dyno and track. I don't have Brenspeeds tunes. I do have Doug's tunes. 87per. tune of course is better than stock, but doesn't have the low end power of the 91 tq tune. 91 race tune is a blast to drive on the street and has feels faster than the 91 tq tune, but it's not. I have yet to break into the 8s with the 91 race tune (track Density altitude is around 3000') yet I can get into the 8s with the 91 tq tune. Of course this is on an 1/8 mile track.
