I went with his 91 Race tune, I don't mind paying for quality gas (so as long it isn't 5.50 a gallon). And it is killer from 2200k on. Great throttle response on the highway and well mannered on stop and go traffic. I heard his Torque tunes are killer too.

Great thread!

It is reassuring getting to read all of the positive feedback on Bamachips. I am definitely going with Bamachips when I purchase my tuner and custom tunes. :-)
Does anyone know how long it normally takes to receive the SCT X3 tuner with the 3 custom tunes?

I was too also thinking of getting a tuner and CAI (about 3rd on my to do list) but i never knew what would be the nest for me. I drive just under 2 mi to school everyday, and on the weekends i take the parkway (60-70) mph for 30 mi. I dont mind paying for medium grade gas, but considering I dont pay for my gas, I dont want to put the burden on my parents. So whats the best for that situation?

I already had the tuner and got the Bamachips tunes emailed within a couple days. I've done a few upgrades since the original tunes and it has never taken more than 3 or 4 days to get the new tunes from Doug.

Probably wouldn't take more than a week or so to get the order processed and the tuner shipped out. Might be busier now with the nicer weather and everyone wanting new tunes.

Default Another BC Fan!

Just my experience, I LOVE my Bamachips 91 Race Tune!! So easy to induce wheel spin at 1/4 throttle; forget about WOT starts HA! Havta get used to spinning both tires since I'm a V6er and recently installed my FRPP T-Lock and 4.10s Was kinda fearful of 4.10s, but my buddies at JBA talked me into them. Totally streetable and 2400 rpms at 70 to boot! Don't be 'afeared' o' the tune or gears for that matter. What fun a mustang is and I had always been a dodge truck fan my whole life. Boy I've been missin out! Glad you like yer tune
