Default Please help a total noobie lost wife that wants to surprise her husband

Please forgive my ignorance, and my newness. Didn't want to post this on the forums my husband frequents for obvious reasons With father's day coming up and such I was thinking about buying my husband the car he wanted, well the makings of it. The pictures I have of the "dream" car, I know have a body kit and such, so basically what I am asking is if anyone can please tell me from these photos exactly what year of mustang this is??

That's an 2005 to 2009 Mustang GT. 2005 to 2009 all share the very same body and engine. What else can we help you with?

That seems to just be a GT with a full cervini's kit.

Quick responses thank you so much, I've only got two weeks to plan any sneakiness so

So basically I could go buy him 08 GT and then from the cervinis site buy the Part # 9022
05-09 C-Series Body Kit
Price: $3959.00

Add to Cart

Includes: hood, front bumper kit, ducktail wing, upper window scoops, lower quarter scoops, and side exhaust system with side skirts and rear valance. 2005 Mustang Body Kit, 2006 Mustang Body Kit, 2007 Mustang Body Kit, 2008 Mustang Body Kit.
Material: Fiberglass & Urethane?

Again I apologize for my lack of knowledge here, I'm way out of my league but would like to do something nice for him.

Yes, the C-Series Body kit will get you very close to the car you have the picture of. The only thing you would be missing is "Tires & Wheels" The tire & wheel set you see on the car you posted the picture of has FR500 wheels on it most likely 20x8.5 or 20x9's on the front and 20x10 on the rear with 255x35 R20 on the front and 285x30 or 275x35 on the rear. If you want to get him the wheels & tires too contact Mike at Cruizin Concepts At: http://www.cruizinconceptswholesale.com/
http://forums.cruizinconcepts.com/ Office Line: (888) 630-065 They carry that Wheel, just show him the picture and he will be able to hook you up with the right set of Wheels & Tires

hmm maybe I'll just get the car and then pay for the body kit. I don't want to get something that isn't exactly what he wants, tried that one year with a new exhaust system, well it was the one he had said a million times that he wanted but a month later he sold the one I bought and got a new one

Again ty for answering my questions

I'd recommend purchasing the car, but waiting until he can be involved in modifying it. Once he's got the car, you may find that he'll want to tweak things here and there once he gets started. That picture may indeed be his dream car, but once you get the ball rolling that may just serve as a starting point for ideas that could come to him once he actually has the car in front of him.

I think for the most part, the point of modifying these cars is to personalize them, make them your own. I'd say getting him the car to start with, and then a commitment to modify it together would be a great gift.

Just my 2 cents.
