Did you guys get high flow cats welded in to your o/r pipe, or your stock pipe in place of the stock cats? How much did you pay for your high flow cats?

I had the hi-flow welded in. I payed $225 for a pair of Magnflow cats and the shop charged $95 to install them.

You don't have to idle like a pro-street car. The loudness will get old, both for you and your neighbors. Some hi-flow cats will tone it down and make it sound even better IMO. If you want a great idle note get some cams, not an off-road pipe.

And anything you have will still be hella loud at WOT.

if it's indeed too loud for your taste, you can try welding in a pair of resonators. it really helped with my setup as it doesn't take a lot of volume out, but it does take the edge off of it. plus $80 installed is a bit more economical.

Mine was $95 installed because they had to drill holes for and install new 02 bungs. Otherwise it would have been 75-$80.
