frpp k springs
anyone have these? what's the actual drop? someone told me only about .75" but ford says 1.5". i just got my new wheels put on (will have pics as soon as it gets nice out) and i wanted to avoid dropping it but I think it's going to need a little drop unfortunately. I don't really want anything too crazy that's why I was thinking the ford springs. also does anyone know the exact amount the eibach pro kit lowers you? thanks in advance!

hard to say the actual drop you get from the FRP lowering springs. they advertise 1.5" all the way around, but I have never physically measures a car that had them on. someone I know installed them on their california special after he put 20's on it and it looked really good. just make sure that you purchase the "true" FRP lowering springs for a GT, part# M-5300-K.
the springs you may have heard about from your friend that only lowered the car about 3/4" are the springs that were being sold by blue oval industries awhile back. they were advertising FRP lowering springs for $120, but they turned out to be "to good to be true" for the price and a few of us on here, including myself, got taken for some money....never found out what kind of springs they were (see link below)

i installed the frpp k springs myself and measured right after install. it was 1-3/8" front and rear.
then i waited 2 weeks, because they will "break in" over time. the car lowered to exactly 1-5/8" front and rear.
so the drop after the springs settle in is slightly more than 1.5"
hope that helps.
