Default factory option hood scoop

hey guys, getting ready to order a 2010 gt, i am thinking about about ordering the accessory package that offers the hood scoop and pedestal spoiler, i researched the hood scoop from fordaccessories.com and it will require drilling for installation. what is your guys opinion on drilling through a perfectly good hood to attach this hood scoop.? i'm not sure i want holes drilled through the hood of a new car ..... any thoughts ?????

Should be added at the factory. But even if its not the dealer does it. So if they screw up they pay to fix. I wouldnt worry.I saw a couple at the dealer and they looked great.

i'm not a real big fan of the spoiler and hood scoop (accessory package) on the 2010, if i were in your position i'd wait to see what some aftermarket companies offer. if your set on the accessory package then like what rollin thunder stated, it will be on ford or the dealer if there is a problem.

-1 for hood scoop... no no. It looks too bulky IMHO.

I saw one on a car while I was in California. It looks more out of place in person than it does in pictures.

The pedestal spoiler is ok..

I noticed the rear-spoiler with the camera is actually larger than the standard spoiler and it looks alot better because it is larger. plus the backup camera option is cool as shyte. With normal SYNC system it displays in the corner of your rearview mirror. With the NAV system it displays on the 8" NAV screen.

The 1st pic is the standard spoiler, the center the camera option spoiler and the right pic is the Roush spoiler...

I would forget the Ford hood scoop, too plain w/o some black around it. If I get to order my '10 GB GT I'll go with a shaker hood scoop.
