Coilovers, not shocks and springs
I want to buy a decent pair of coil overs for the mustang and i have not heard of anyone on the forum buying a pair. Instead i hear a lot about purchases of lowering springs and shocks.
The spring and the shock should be designed for each other to get the best performance. I guess i would want my system to have the highest natural frequency and be as close to critically damped as possible.
Where can I get a decent pair of coil overs?

Not sure because I have never driven in a mustang with coilovers. But... I would probably go with Tein Flex with the "EDFC" electronic dampening controller.
Tein's basic coilovers (msrp around 800-1000) are really not very good and not adjustable. Systems like the Flex or even the lesser superstreet will definitely deliver though.

H&R is my coilover of choice.
The lowering springs I had before made for a super harsh ride. Cornering sucked. I am happy with my suspension it works great at the track. This is the track with corners not the 1/4 mile kind.

I bought the ground control coilover kit for the 2005-2009 mustang gt and they are the best available IMO. I looked at teins, KW, and Eibach. After not liking teins EDFC adjustment comp, I have my mind set on KW's. I talked to a representative from KW and he said the springs are progressive type. I didnt like that and started to do more research and came to a conclusion with Ground Control. http://www.ground-control-store.com/. Quality is amazing, koni shocks with eibach springs are perfect, everything is assembled and ready for installation. It also comes with caster camber plates and a choice of spring rates.
