Need Help on Vinyl Stripe Order and Setup!
I am ordering vinyl stripes to put on my car.
I am getting a kit from Baltimorestreetmods that has the stripes going all the way down bumper to bumper.
I am also going to get pinstripes to run all the way down bumper to bumper on the outside of each stripe, like this...
Baltimore street mods sells the pinstripes seperate in its OWN kit.
(Not with the 10" stripes kit)
Each kit comes with at least 560 inches of pinstriping. (6 pinstripes 80" long)
My questions are as follows:
Since they are 6 pinstripes does that mean you will have to overlap some of the stripes to get them running in a SOLID line all the way down?
(That would NOT be good I am guessing.)
Since I will have TWO pinstripes (one on the outside of each 10" stripe)
will I need to order TWO pinstripe kits? Or does one kit come with enough striping for BOTH sides of the 10" stripes?
Sorry if these questions sound stupid but I want to make sure I order these pinstripes correctly.
OH one more question....
If I order 10" stripes with a inch space in between them... then use a half inch gap between the 10" stripes... will I have room to have 1" pinstripes or will I HAVE to get 1/2 inch pinstripes for them to fit and have enough room? (given the amount of space from tail light to tail light)
Or could I go with a 1/4" space in between the 10" stripes and pinstripes and use a 1" pinstripe?
(If the first setup with 1" pinstripe would work I would like it better)
Thanks!

Does this mean that 1" pinstripes would NOT fit?
I REALLY need some help in finding out if they would and what would be the maximum spacing you could have between the pins and the 10" racing stripes.

I was wondering if you could tell me the measurments of your stripes and pinstripes.
Also the spacing in between both the racing stripes... and the spacing in between the racing stripes and pin stripes.
One more question. Where did you get them from?
Thanks!

I got 12" stripes from Baltimore Street Mods but I don't have the pin stripes. The 12" Precut stripes are supposed to be 2" apart I know for a fact and I don't think the 10" would be any different. And what part of Texas are you from? I know of a guy around my area who installed my stripes for 250 bucks and did a great job.

The 12" BSM kit (which is on my car) overlaps on the front bumper and underneath the rear spoiler...absolutely NOBODY can tell. If your pinstripes had to overlap, it wouldn't be the end of the world. Just choose an overlap location that is discreet or difficult to discern. Good luck!
