Thinking about buying 2010 but...

i dont get why the 2010 is getting bashed so much. i love the new look (including the rear end). i think it looks a lot more like a performance car. and people say its underpowered but has a better hp/liter ratio than the Challenger R/T. it doesnt make sense why people hate it.

Johnson2K10, you stated you are not a Mustang owner and you consider being one. My advise - be a Mustang owner ASAP. Each year without it is a lost year. You think about 2011 or 2012, fine. 2011 model may be your next Mustang. Buy 2010 and you will be happy you made this decision. A lot of people are talking about rear end. You like it and this is most important.
I wouldn't wait for 5.0 engine if I were you.

Also anyone have a link to this FACT that the 5.0 will be in the mustang?
If so I will hold off possibly getting a 2010

I don't mean to start anything up here because I know it's a bit of a touchy subject with the muscle crowd, but that law will probably not end up passing. Here's what will happen, they can start making cars get at least 35mpg, but people are just going to rip the motors out and put in high performance ones. I tell you what, if they ever come after me for my cars, ('92 Camaro with 305tbi, or my new '10 2SS), there's going to be problems. It'll be a sad day if the law passes. Muscle is such a passion for so many people.

I meant, if he wants he can wait for anything that's gonna happen in the future but in the meantime let him enjoy a Mustang.

... or before you die. seriously though, why wait for the latest and greatest if you're fine with the current version. things in life could change drastically for better or worse by the time a better version comes along. if you can afford it, get it now.

That is my philosophy as well...so I ordered a new 2010 GT
