Car & Driver: July 2009... MUSTANG WINS!!!
#21
Though I love GM's LS series motors, I am constantly impressed with the performance of the 3V 4.6L. When you know how to drive it and can keep the RPM in the power band, it pulls a lot harder than it's smaller displacement would indicate.
Also, Ford must be some sort of wizard when it comes to exhaust, because the Stangs consistently have one of the sweetest sounding exhaust notes out there. I love to ride around with the radio off and the windows down, orchestrating my own private symphony with the subtle pressures of my right foot.

There was an article a few months back, where some executive at GM was being really overconfident and cocky about the new Camaro when any talk came up about how it would compare to a Mustang. He didn't even think they would be in the same league and that the Camaro would be far better (not his exact words, but the general tone) At the time, I was excited about the new Camaro but was pretty disgusted with his attitude.
Wonder how he feels now?
