I am in the processes of installing an Alpine head unit and it calls for setting a 2-way or 3-way switch depending on the system. One of the settings allows for adjusting the crossover. I am going from the Shaker 1000 and want to make sure I am not going to mess anything up. I am having a hard time finding any info on this so any guiideance would be very helpful.

Is the Shaker 1000 a 2-way or 3-way system? (whatever that means)

I called the local dealership and they didn't know...the service guy there told me to look it up on Crutchfield. Talk about disappointing!
