sct tune question changing cars?????

Default sct tune question changing cars?????

i already put my old car back to stock and theres a button that says unlock this device in the liveload program but when i click it .. it says ERROR. cant unlock device.. its not locked!.... how would i go about setting up my tuner for my new car... erase all the files? im not really sure?

some of the sct products really bug me. I have problems like that with my livewire as well. Id try calling SCT. They dont respond to emails very well.

i honestly rather not call sct because last time they screwed me out of $150 when i just had to press unlock device on liveload instead of sending in my tuner and then called me for like 5 months straight asking for $7.99 for shipping which they will never get lol..... so if any1 else has any idea what i should do will be much appreciated

should i erase all filess. or erase device first? and then it will work?

I'm watching your thread too cuz I will be next in-line with that problem , I have a SCT tuner on its way from AM.

imo, if you can, dump the files...secondly, call sct....i have had tech support walk me through a few things for free..don't understand the charge

i thought this would be alot easier lol guess not...i erased the files maybe if i just add the tune to the device ... and then plug it into the car it will work fine? idk
