i blew a motor with thier wastegate. thier wastegates are notorious for spiking with in the "turbo world". the valve does not fully open to 38MM even tho it is a 38MM wastegate. its rated to max 400-450 HP, which is very border line of what we put out with a turbo. i upgraded to a 44MM and all is good now on the new motor.

caution ( a member on the board here) is the one you probably read about in the magazine, he had to put alot more money into his and still was having a over heating problem and i believe upgraded his radiator.

alot of issues with thier kit is the MAF pipe and location, they even changed the pipe and the newer kits come with a new redesigned pipe.

http://www.turbo-kits.com/ used to offer a warranty against engine damage for the Turbonetics turbo, costing $300.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/vend...-warranty.html

Now there is not only no more warranty offered on their website but unlike 9 months ago, but turbonetics has boosted the price of their kits across all vendors by $1000-$1300.

Turbonetics: $5800

The STS Twin turbo is too expensive, because for that money you could just forge an engine and run a Paxton to 900 hp.

STS Twin Turbo: $8000

The Garrett Twin Turbo, isn't a kit it's just intake manifold and two turbos that asks you to figure it out yourself.

Garrett Twin Turbo: $3000

The Hellion Turbo features a turbonetics waste gate, but it seems to be the best system out of the bunch, and the cheapest when you're done with it. It's also the only one that is sold by Brenspeed, it's price includes fuel pumps, spark plugs, injectors and tuning.

$5700
