I probably ramble on a bit too much about this, but man the 2k5 Mustang convertible is awesome. I've driven a jeep for years, a couple of other convertibles recently, and I just love the design of Mustang vert!

Put me in the "don't do it!" crowd. I have seen a couple people put in after-market sunroofs. And you only get one shot.. if it gets screwed up, your screwed. You are also fooling with the structural integrity of the vehicle. It wasn't designed for a sunroof. If yer gonna do it, i'd consider some extra stiffening, (which I am sure you have already thought about).. damn, my posts are rambling this morning....

==How come you "love the fresh air" guys didn't just get verts?==

Amen!

I have done two aftermarket sunroofs and will never ever never do it again. Never. Not gonna do it. They both leaked and there is nothing more miserable than driving a car in the rain with a leaky roof. There may be some sunroofs out there that will never leak, but I am not going to risk it again. It's not worth it, and if it's messed up it is irreversable. Now factory moonroofs get two thumbs up from me, I love them. I don't understand why it's not an option on Mustangs.

Some of us bought our cars before verts were available.

I own a glass shop and have people come in once in a while asking why their sunroof is leaking.

Just once i'd like to look it over carefully and say "Oh yes, here's the problem............. THERE' A BIG FU#$#@* HOLE IN THE ROOF OF YOUR CAR!!!.

And they'll ask "Can you fix it?" and I'll say "Suuuurrrrreeeee, I'll order a new roof tonight, It'll be in tomorrow."

That Ned Flanders, thinks he's so cool.
