Interesting! The fit, finish and performance of my 09 GT is way better than my 07 GT.

wow - thats it exactly - do they re paint the whole hood? looks like i'll be paying the dealership a visit soon

Just got off the horn with the dealership and they said mine isn't covered under warranty any longer - 3 years or over 36,000 miles -

mines is 21,000 miles but its an 06!! now what...any suggestions???

The "or" means either one of those options will qualify.
You qualify since you have less than 36K miles.

So F*** 'em, they're trying to cheat you!

I would try going to another Ford dealer and if that does no good then get in touch with a Ford rep.

Assuming you weren't kidding, it's 3 years or 36K whichever comes first.

FWIW, I have had the bubbling under the hood for at least 2 years. Luckily, it hasn't spread (I circled an area with an ink pen, and it's still the same).

I wasn't kidding, lol.

You're in your 3rd year, you haven't fully consumed it yet.
Since there's a TSB on this, you should be able to get something anyway...

You have to fight with them, PITA but that's how the game is played.
Ins. companies do that in an even worse way, they'll contest a claim with a Police Report that is against their policy holder!!
