i had a separator, then changed to triple breathers. 1 on each valve cover and 1 on the oil filler cap. i was getting blow by out the passenger side, but i switched oil from 5w20 to 5w30 and now no blow by.

still running the stef's can, seems to be
doing fine.

i had the intake off recently and not a drop
of oil behind the throttle body....

i have one breather on the valve cover. 5w30 full synthetic no problems

I dont have a catch can but my friend was stressing me out that its a must. I am running 5w30. How important is it?

If you are running boost, you should be running an air/oil separator or "catch can". It's cheap insurance. If you need confirmation, pull your intake off at the throttle body and run your finger along the edge of the blades. I run a moroso setup (simply because it was a few bucks cheaper than the Stef's version).
