You should be able to negotiate an invoice deal on an ordered car which would save you about 3k from MSRP. PM me if your interested in ordering a car in SoCal.

best case is invoice (real invoice not "there" invoice) maybe $1000 rebate as well, worst case would be sticker...

Don't get caught up in the moment.

Pure speculation. If the OP wants a deal I'll negotiate one for him on the phone in his area for $75 and save him thousands. I've been doing this for over 4 years because I'm extremely good at it. I don't advertise on the forum but felt to post because this thread is in need of something serious. I have a proven track record of getting cars within the lowest 5%-10% of sales every single time.

Was fortunate enough to get an X-Plan deal (its their option) at a local Houston dealer. If they won't budge, go elsewhere, there are plenty on the
ground right now.....

Got mine at invoice minus $500 military rebate minus whatever rebates are out when my car is delivered. It was very easy all I did was ask.

hey guys thanks for the input more would be great okay, heres what the dealer has offered me Im trading a truck kbb values it at 13,900 I owe 12,700, The dealer gave me 15,000 for the truck and gave me the 1000 rebate the car he said is MSRP at 29000 its just a GT deluxe Auto is the only option cloth seats etc. So what would the MSRP be on that car because the dealer said that 26000 is too low and they paid more than that for the car themselves, which i think is crap and a lie! But I want to see what I can do to get a 420 and down a month car payment for 60 months. What should I do now are those prices fair? What should i offer them? Any help thanks!

Here GrayGhost:
http://www.edmunds.com/new/2010/ford...72/prices.html

Say MSRP GT $27,995 Invoice $25,771.

Tiny, it wasn't a typo Actually in the Salt Lake area UT, Boise ID no dealer offered less than MSRP, even when I say I ordered one MSPR price from an another. Salt Lake area has only 4 2010s total. I think I suffer from the rarity of it still, where dealers don't trip knowing they'll sell anyway at what they want. I couldn't even get below MSRP for a new 09 on the lot when I said "I was looking at a 10 from the other dealer".

In 3-4 months, the novelty factor gone, people just months away from the new engine, I bet dealers will give them away. ... but I want mine now, can always trade it in a year for a new "new" GT

Yes is was a coupon by mail for $750 for buying a new Ford <not used> between 420K and $44K till 06/09. I received it a couple of days after I signed up for infos on the new Mustang at the dealer.

I know most cringent here buying a car at MSRP, and there's always the ones that claim they got it for peanuts, but even a $1500 rebate ... do I really care? What like $30/month on my payment? MSRP so be it as long as I'm not getting screewed on the finacing. You guys remember 2005? Hell! The GT Premium every dealer wanted MSRP +$5000! Maybe I could get the car cheaper in L.A., what like MSRP - $1000? Then it'll cost me as much or more to go pick up the car and bring it back/title anyway.
