Default So when should we expect to see the 2011 for sale?

I was planning on buying a V6 2010 at the end of the year, but now that I have seen so much new info on the 2011, I think I will just wait for it to be released.. I don't want a GT because a V8 is too much. I don't drive faster than 80 on the highway, so it would just be a waste of power! So when should we be expecting the 2011??

the 2010 should have been called 2009 1/2.

Normally a 2011 would be available in early Sept 2010. The should give Ford a long time to get everything right.

I really like your argument about waste of power.

Power isn't all about top speed champ!
It's how fast you get to 80.

Then never EVER test drive a GT...or else you'll find all that power to not be such a "waste"...

Eh, already test driven it man. Argument still stands. It's nice but.. unnecessary. Besides I would have to pay more for insurance with a V8.

its funny you mention insurance. I look at it this way. USAA told me the difference between the gt and the v6 is 58 dollars a year, difference between the v8 and the gt500 is 67 dollars a year. When the v-6 only gets like what 2 more MPG on the highway. I will take the extra HP,torque and cylinders.

I agree with you on this one as well. The difference in insurance cost between a V6 and a GT is not that big anyways and its well worth spending the extra few bucks to get the power/torque boost.

You asked about the V6 so I am not going to talk to you like you are stupid! If I were in your shoes I would wait for the new V6, but you know you are going to pay for that new V6, the extra power and milage as well as resale will make up for the wait. The old V6 is just sooo old and outdated that the new one really will be a breath of fresh air!
