Default Fist time to track ever!

Ok so yesterday i went to the track for the first time in my life did not know what to expect. So i did 4 runs and got a best time of 14.258 @ 97.15. After reading some stuff on here it doesnt seem to be right. But i will let the pros tell me what im doing wrong. Everything is stock besides what is in my sig. And here is a copy of the slip

When i get home ill upload a video.

Frank

When i added my tune & intake i did not notice a difference like everyone else says. So i might call Bama today and see if something happened to my tune like they over looked something. I hope so b/c i have the 93 race and i still feel like a stock gt but with firmer shifting.

Doesn't really seem to be that far off. Your 60ft times are pretty bad, plus the weather is really hot right now. Not exactly the best time for track visits. You just need more practice.

You'll probably get more responses if you post this is the street/strip section

Congrats on getting out to the track. Regardless of the ET's, did you have fun?

As stated, reducing your 60' time would help your ET's. That'll take more practice, so try to get as much seat time as possible.

For a first timer I would say your doing ok. Practice will get you better times. One of the best tips I ever got was: DON'T WAIT FOR THE GREEN... GO ON THE THIRD YELLOW. Concentrate on the tree, and I mean as soon as you see that yellow punch it.

That will help his reaction time, but won't have any effect on his e.t. Still good advice though!
