Soap: Turtle Wax Ice car wash
Sponge: Microfiber/bug remover 2-in-1 (one side has microfiber bristles, the other a netting that nabs the bugs without scratching paint/vinyl)
Drying: synthetic chamois
Wax: EagleOne NanoWax spray

Every wash, every time.

This will probably be moved to the Detailing Thread, which is where all your questions can be answered.

https://mustangforums.com/forum/detailing-46/

Start with the Stickies at the top. There are so many products out there that it's probably best for you to go to your local auto parts store and see what they sell (unless you buy online) and then see how highly rated the products are.
Nothing worse than finding out how great a soap is and then not being able to find it.

Pressure washer with no soap actually does real good.

I gotta agree on checking the MF Detailing section but real quick - obsessivedetail.com! When I don't want to drag the hose out and she's not filthy, Obsessive No Rinse. For full washing, Obsessive Car Wash - started using this a few months ago on my white SUV and it is excellent stuff.

The only thing I don't like about using a regular car wash soap and a garden hose is how fast the car dries off. As soon as I pull the car into the garage to dry it off the clock is ticking. Without a second person helping me to get it dry then it usually ends up with water spots.

Don't wash in the sun, water spots are unavoidable in the sun. For a final rinse, take the nozzle off the hose and use just the free flowing water by its self. Its called sheeting. it literally puts a sheet of water over the car w/ no water spots. dry in the shade if all possible
