GT to a 427R
So I have my GT. I'm very happy with it. Yet, being the power hungry SOB that I am, I am craving to get my hands on some Roush parts. My question is...is there a way to send my GT to Roush to have it converted to the new 427R? Maybe send it to a dealership that deals with Roush parts, or would I have to buy all the parts on my own. I'm pretty car savvy so I'm sure I can manage getting the parts separately and installing them bit by bit. However, if I can just send the car into a Roush shop of some sort, it would make my life easier.

Well, due to the fact that I've already spent my money on a GT, I can no longer afford a 427R. I don't really care if I have a clone. I just want to know if Roush takes GT's and builds them into 427R's clone or not. I would prefer to send my GT to Roush and have them install everything because I don't have much time to work on the car myself right now. I have morning PT every morning due to being in the Marine Corps. Reserve and right after I have school. Then I have to go to my full-time job afterwards. So time is a big issue for me. So again, does Roush take GT's and install the parts or will I have to order them and install them myself whenever I can find some time.

I've never heard of roush doing that. i'm pretty sure steeda will do that, the way shelby does with the super snakes. http://www.steeda.com/
your best bet if your heart is set on a 427R is to buy all the parts and take the car to a reputable mustang shop in your area if you don't/can't do the work yourself.
