I don't think we're being punked with unless it's someone from OT...

Thanks for the corrections, Gene. Nice freaking 1/4 time btw.

Actually, I was kind of curious about that subject myself, just never posted on it. I think my first post here was asking what "Roush" was.

There might have been changes in the options throughout the model year. Early in the 2007 model year, even the premium GT did not include the aluminum trim on the steering wheel and the shifter. I think the steering wheel was hard plastic, not leather wrapped. I got the leather wrapped steering wheel with aluminum trim on the steering wheel, shifter, and pedals by ordering the Interior Sport Appearance Package. If you ordered the Interior Upgrade Package, then I think you got the items I mentioned (not sure about the pedals) plus oil pressure and voltage gauges, My Color, message center, some additional dash trim, and other miscellaneous appearance items.

OP joined only yesterday, so having one (it was actually two) posts by shortly after midnight on the join date is reasonable. He has no known OT activity, so the post count under his username represents his complete activity here.

Please try to be a little more thorough in your research if you're going to go looking for insight into why a given member may have asked a particular question. OP deserves the benefit of the doubt, even though the username itself is a bit unusual and might sound OT-ish to some.

I might have asked the same question a couple of years ago if I was buying used (read: available sales brochure and internet content would not necessarily reflect the year(s) that I'd have been looking at).

Here's a link that should answer most of your questions:

Good luck with your Mustang hunt!

I'm not punking anybody. Just got a question. You guys will probably see more more here since I'm buying a Mustang in a couple of months.

Thanks for the replies. Saw '07 Deluxe for $3,000 cheaper than a GT so wasn't sure which one to go for.

Well, for that 07 deluxe, you should go and see if it is a V6 deluxe or a GT deluxe.

There are four trims:
V6 Deluxe
V6 Premium

GT Deluxe
GT Premium

I was also curious what my car was because I have a odd array of stuff. Leather wraped steering wheel, shaker 500, but no my color (or from what I can figure out, unless theres a button or something). I wonder If I got a Deluxe with the sport package and shaker, hmmmm

Supposedly you access MyColor through the IP 'Setup' button. And I think there's some requirement about headlights being on. I'm supposed to have it, but I like the factory default well enough to have never bothered with trying that feature out (so I don't know all the ins and outs of it).
