Default Iphone+Internet Radio=Farewell Satellite radio

We'll after recently purchasing an Iphone my brother brought to my attention that I can listen to internet radio through my Pioneer headunit. So he downloaded AOL internet radio and sure enough it worked, but sounded like crap. It plays through the Ipod connection and is an added bonus for me since I have hour and a half commutes from work.

After fooling around with different internet radio websites, I finally came across Pandora Internet Radio. Wow, blows Sirius and AOL out the water and the sound quality is top notch. If I only new this a few months ago I could've saved me a few hundred bucks it cost for the Sirius hardware and subscription.

I just cant see renewing my Sirius subscription after my service expires next year.

its good stuff, I like pandora a lot.

another good program is shazaam, not sure if you used it yet but it listens to the song thats playing over any speakers and tells you what song it is. I have used it a few times when a song comes on the radio and everyone is trying to figure out what it is. I just open the app and have it listen to the music and it tells me the song and gives you the link in itunes to download it.

Welcome to the year 2003, iPhone users.

You have to forgive me... I'm a little slow. I did pick it up for less than half the price though.

Damn sometimes you do win when your the last one to finish the race!

you can also use iheartradio to listen to FM stations not in your area, or if you go on a trip and want to listen to your home town station while your gone.
