Ordered 2010 with Track Pack... some odd restrictions though....

lol, I'm talking about a normal spoiler that the GTs come with.
Look in the tech discussion forum, theres a buy that got some of these accessories with his track pack GT. My dealer is just jacking me around I guess.
If the weight of some plastic is that much of an issue, I'll just lose 20 lbs and keep those bitchin' looking scoops. :-P

My cousin is about to have the same problem, he wants the Track pack BUT he also wants the glass top.....Track pack and the top is a MUST. or he will take his $36,000 bucks and move on to Nissan. Is there a way to get the dealer to install the top? and a shaker hood scoop, and the GT spoiler...? What ever happened to THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT?

All the fake scoops are goofy to me anyway. I can't understand the appeal of non-functional scoops. As for the spoiler, it's useless as well, unless you just like the extra drag that it creates at speed. I've been looking for someone with a black non-spoiler trunk to swap with me since I bought my car.

I'm actually happy about this now... it forced me to look at other options, and I ultimately ended up putting the GT-500 spoiler on mine, still considering window louvers. I changed my mind on the hood and door scoops after seeing them in person.
The useless cosmetics argument is completely moot once you realize that in order to have the track pack, you have to buy the Premium. Track pack is not available with Deluxe.
It's all about the price point. Another good example of forced option configuration due to price point considerations is the HID upgrade requiring the security package.

I think we're going to wait for the 2011's to come out and wait a year for the bugs if any to be worked out of the 5.0l, if we do it that way then we could just see what aftermarket looks like for it then Then again we could just wait till after we buy a house so we could have parking for all our cars in this household! We only have 7 Cars to park LOL
