Default rat holed some cash for some small mods...

Here are my choices: Roush prepainted hoodscoop or a FRPP tower strut. I know, both are non-functional, but I like them.

I thought the tower strut stiffens the chassis?

I'd say hood scoop. It makes the hood look so much better!

go with the scoop, unless being asked or at a show the strut brace will not be seen that often

Scoop if its a Roush
and Strut Brace if it is a Edelbrock
(different as the 2 point braces are way overplayed) IMHO

EDIT: but wait, is that not a scoop on your hood in the picture of your M/T GT?
Dont think the Roush will cover the OEM hoodscoop holes...

He's right. you'd have to get a whole new hood. I'd go ram air for that money.

I vote strut, or a plenum cover if you don't have one.

I swapped my hood a couple months ago, found one on craigslist for $125. Guess I should update my picture. I think I'm leaning towardes the Roush, just hope it fits well. My old stock scoop had gaps around it, drove me crazy!

Go with the Roush hood scoop, order it from Josh at RPI Designs, great prices and even better customer service.
