I tried raising the idle rpm with no change, I'll try lowering it next. In the end I'm not too worried about it.

4K miles on my rockers now and I get the rattle but only stopped at lights. I'm not to worried about it though. Your inducing vibrations with the lumpy idle something is bound to start rattling. I hate the plastic rattle inside more than anything but that was there stock. I'm loving mine and knock on wood they've been great. We shall see tomorrow taking it on its first road trip 300miles each way and it's my daily so I really don't expect to much fuss from it. Again knock on wood haha.

hemmeron,
Interestingly I set my idle at 690 (from 740) with my SCT X4 and the noise seems to have been reduced noticeably. Since I effectively modified my custom BAMA tune my only question is simply lowering the idle rpm a safe modification or is there something I need to consider by doing do? What do you think?

Thanks guys. I've been cruising around today grinning ear to ear. Noise is still there but not nearly as loud. hammeron, will check with the AC on but honestly I never run the AC in my Bullitt. I roll with the windows down all the time
August or so the LT headers go in, can't wait.

Yeah I have that intake sitting in my basement but I've got a ram air hood so it soaks the filter if it rains so I gotta figure something out with that first. Trying to come up with some kind of cover/deflector.
