An employee of Techco just returned a message that I left them a week or so ago. He said that they are still trying to relocate and they were given 30 days to get out of their previous building. All of their stuff has gone to a storage location.
All of the employees were temporarily laidoff and are welcome to come back if they haven't found new jobs when they re-open, which will be at least 2 months.

As hot as all the rumors are, you'd think Techco brass would get on the horn and put a cap on all the stuff flying around.

Well it doesn't sound like to me they're out of business in the normal sense. As in being gone forever - adios amigos!

It's just a temporary halt of operations until things are settled. Kind of like some of the plants of Chrysler. They halted production of some of them temporarily until the merger was done and would plan on resuming sometime later. So while everyone was out of work, they would all be welcomed back after a few months. That's what the plan was anyway.

So I don't think anyone that has a techco product or was planning on getting one should be worried. I would have been more worried about a Saleen product.

that is my thought, i mean its on every forum that they are "out of business" really so I would take 5-10 minutes and hit the major forums with a statement. These forums are the biggest part of their business anymore. News spreads, bad or good, on the forums like wildfires and touches so many people.

lol packing it up for 2 months......ughh sounds like they are out of business and just not sure how to break it out to everybody, even though it has leaked already. Probably trying to figure out what they will do about warranty and things like that before they go public with it and trying to save there name incase they do come back later down the road.

People just dont pack up for 2 months and tell there employees if you dont find another job you can come back with us.....they are basically telling them go find another job.....if they were serious about opening in 2 months they wouldnt tell there workers to go ahead and find diff jobs cause they would be fckd if they did re-open they have to hire all new people.....blah

Makes no sence to IMO from what I have read.

Sounds like money problems. If you got money you could find a new place to move your business today. Not like there is a lack of real estate out there. Probably putting all of their stuff in storage looking for a buyer.

Money solves most problem's!!!

Lots of random speculation. Isn't the internet great!! Why not just wait and find out instead of spreading baseless rumors?
