Question Ambient temperature sensor

Hello dudes,

Question for you. I got aeroforce gauges pluged into my obd2. They have a reading for ambient temperature (apart of intake). I cannot figure out where this sensor may be located. Does any one have any clue? Thanks a lot in advance.

HERE is where to look for it...

My Challenger has it right out front in the grill area....
Never seen it on the S197 Stang....
But my DashHawk reports the AAT just fine...

Looked through the diagrams. I did not find it. It works but it reports s lot higher than actual temps, so Knowing were it is it may help me understand why

Ambient sensors are usually located somewhere in front of the radiator. Either behind the grille or front bumper. Look for something clipped to a metal support that looks like a plain block of plastic at the end of a wire. It'll look like it doesn't do anything. Many times, they're on the vertical support directly in front of the radiator.

The electrical diagrams dont show it and there
is not a connector associated with the AAT sensor.
It just does not exist on the wiring diagrams....
Or is inside the PCM....
Some component cooler sprayed on the PCM should show if it is in there.
I dont get that weird of readings from my AAT.....
They just seem like normal AATs....
