First mods picked out, want opinions before I drop the cash plz!
Alright so my 'stang is ~24 days out now, I am a salesman at a ford dealership and now in the month of september D-plan pricing (employee pricing) is now eligible for 1000 dollar owner loyalty (if you're trading in a ford) rebates that it wasnt eligible for when I ordered it. So the dealership is just gonna cut me back 1000 dollar check for that and it will be used for my first mods! Our Finance Directer has a PJ Saleen and knows a lot about these cars. He likes my plans but I wanted some other opinions. Already have a JL 13.5w3 ordered for the trunk
1. X-pipe
2. Flowmaster American Thunder Mufflers
3. SCT Custom Tuner
Total cost $907
Hoping it will add ~30hp
Tell me what you guys think!?!
Thanks for the input!

Don't think you will get 30whp from those mods. I'm not a fan of Flowmasters at all. I do like the way the Roush Off Road exhaust sounds over all the rest.
Just got a mag that dyno'd a 2010 GT and got:
9rwhp form the SCT
12rwhp from Magna-flow x-pipe and Roush O/R exhaust.
IMO it is still a great by.
I wanna see your sub install when you get to it.

Will def post pics when its done. Ported box, takes up 2 1/2 cu. ft... I've also been suggested a borla exhaust, and have heard one on an 09 GT. Unfortunately the only way I have to listen to the flows is online, but I've heard good things. Thanks for the info

JMO...Cold Air Intake (lots of brands-just have to research), Tuner/Tune, & Exhaust. Flomasters aren't bad, they were the first mufflers I had on my 05 GT when I first bought it, but then I switched to the Borla Stingers much later on. The Flowmasters are going to be more restrictive and I can honestly say that "seat of the pants" I could feel the difference when my S/C would kick in after I installed the Borlas....I have to imagine that even a n/a car will feel an improvement.
