Kenwood DNX9140 or Pioneer AVIC Z110BT ?
Guys what indash Navigation/stereo system do you recomend, I keep an eye on these 2 (subject line). I have a shaker 1000 system (if that matters for harness/compatibility issues with sat radio.). I have found both systems in the $1200 range. Do I need a harness adapter?
Important things for me are:
Compatible with IPOD/Iphone,
Compatible with my existing satelite radio receiver
Compatible with a shaker 1000 wiring/speakers/amplifiers
Bluetooth
Good voice recognition.
Good cool display.
Able to interface with my pc (for trip planning, wallpapers, music. etc).
DVD not as important.
Any other suggestions welcome

Both look good but the Pioneer AVIC Z110BT cost less. If you go threw Crutchfield you will get everything you need to hook it up which will include the wire harness adapter so it will be more or less plug & play. http://www.crutchfield.com/p_130AVIC...C+Z110BT&ssi=0

I doubt you'll be able to use your existing satellite radio receiver. I did a lot of research on this and if you go with the Pioneer you will probably have to buy their universal receiver and the "integration" box ($150 or something like that). You should contact Crutchfield to make sure though. Make sure you read reviews for the SC-C1 universal Sirius tuner - they are generally not good.

I've got the Kenwood DNX8120 and I love it thus far. Great Garmin interface, IPOD connectivity, USB adapter, Sirius sat, and yes DVD playback, movies on roadtrips rock! From personal experience with multiple Kenwood decks in the past, I would say Kenwood, but what would be best is to find a car audio store that has both, and go play with each one, look at how use friendly and how the interface works differently between the two. Just my .02
