Thought this would be of interest; from the Sept 28, 2009 issue of Automotive News.



What I find interesting is that Ford doesn't seem to promote the aluminum hood; I discovered it on my own only after purchasing my '10 GT.

I also don't see much mention of the fact that the paint is nearly flawless... way to go on quality Ford!

Ya I didn't know about the hood either. I did notice right away how very light it is. You have to drop it from about 18 inches to get the latch to close.
