If its nice the top def comes down, i however hate vert owners who drive around with the top down, and the rear windows up. Bugs me big time!

I am with you on that one.... I friggin' HATE to see all the Mazda Miatas driving around here with their tops down and windows UP. It is my strong belief that if you have to roll the windows up, the top should be up as well. It's like saying "I want my top down but I don't want my hair to get messed up".

And in perfect weather there's no excuse for having the top up!
On the '10 model, did they make it a momentary switch or do you still need to hold down the button until the top is fully down? I bought the Web Electric kit to make that change to mine, but have not installed it yet.

I don't like to drive with the top down in rush hour traffic.

~ People throwing stuff out the window like cigarettes and gum. Even had a guy toss the remnants of his coffee out.

~ Follow too close and get wet from windshield wiper spray.

~ Comments on my appearance from truck drivers who look down into my car.

Best time to cruise topless is on hot summer nights.

I'm curious about that also since they added the sequential taillights on the '10. Doogie65 you really need to add that kit, takes about 45 minutes if you solder all of the connections.

Down here in the land of three seasons I will drive with the top down until the temps dip into the low 40s. I keep a wind breaker in the trunk and with the heated seats and the fine dash heater, the vert. is comfortable above that.

Windows up with the top down looks lame but I see it a lot. If it's a V6 in torch red or white with the windows up and the top down then you have about a 99% chance that it is a rental.

Think I might tackle that little project this weekend as I have my entire Sat. set aside for tinkering on the car starting with a good polish/waxing with my new Flex polisher! I already have the rear window Web Electric kit installed, so this one should be a piece of cake... but I would never install something like this without soldering it

Doogie: there is some cutting and wire redirection involved with the one touch top.

For the OP I see rear window flutter while driving with the top up. This usually occurs when I'm drying the top after driving through one of our local Frog Strangler rain storms. Ford wants the top dry before lowering.
