Default Emmisions inspection FAIL

Failed the sniff test. As it turns out, Brenspeed turns off the rear O2 sensors.

Brenspeed said to return it to stock, drive 70 miles, and all should be good.

My question is this: The printout gave four reasons for failing.

OBD monitor readiness status:
Catalyst: not ready
Evaporative system: not ready
O2 sensor: not ready
O2 sensor heater: not ready

Will the tune cause all four of these to pop up on the sniff test? Thanks.

Oh and FYI, they said that if I ever want to get an off-road pipe, I don't have to retune since the tune already compensates.

Thanks! ****, I'm out 27 bucks, lol.

Just do what Brenspeed told you and you'll be fine. Trust me. I just did this back in March.

I put my car back to stock tune, than a check engine light came on, I then had to put my stock intake back on, drive around for about 150 miles, play around with the fuel level and than it was fine, a real pain in the ***, I hate June in NY for that reason.

I didnt return to stock because I have CMCV's. I just had them write me an emissions friendly tune. Loaded up, drove 70 miles, passed inspection.

First year I failed, took the CAI off and returned all to stock.

Second year I got the emissions friendly tune from Brenspeed via e-mail, downloaded to the SCT and it worked!

Can I have an "emissions tune" loaded, keep my aftermarket CAI on, and pass a sniff test? I really don't want to have to put the stock air box back on every year.

Hell yeah man, Me either! I love it, don't have to waste 27 bucks to our stupid government each year, and I don't have to take off and put on parts either!
