questions on throttle body for my 2007 gt
hi, i have a 2007 mustang gt and i was thinking of putting the bbk 62mm throttle body that american muscle has on sell for 300.00...only question is is that i read somewhere that the 2007 and 2008 mustang's computers are more sensitive than the 2005 and 2006 and that i may need to retune my car as well....i was wondering if other 2007 or 2008 mustangs had replaced thier throttle body and what the result was, or nmaybe i should just buy another upgrade part for my car??? i ahve around 5oo or so,,,,any other better upgrades available around that price range?...oh and fyi i do have the k&n cold air intake as well....thank you

Let's just say that there are many here that have replaced their TB and have had issues. Not all, but a good many. Also, the stock TB flows as well as the engine needs for our non-aspirated and non-internally modded engines. I'd research it a lot morre before you go for it.

The only TB I'd get is the new shiny FRPP TB. It would look great under the hood if you have other shiny/chrome things. However, HP gains will be low (like <5HP) unless you're pushing a big-bore stroker with cams and heads/turbo/blower.
