Cool MAC or BBK Shorty headers on my V6

I am going to be getting a set of headers and a steeda throttle body spacer soon. What I need to know is who makes the best quality headers for my car. I have looked around and as far as I can see BBK and MAC are the only ones who make them for a sixer. Also it looks like a pretty simple switch out, and could be done with just hand tools. Are there any traps waiting to jump out and get me. Thanks

honestly, throttle bodies and spacers arent worth the money. To continue in all honesty I plan to buy my shorty headers from ebay.... they are jsut as good they just dont have a name. search the forums you'll find a lot of positive references to ebay non name headers

I know you didn't ask for advice, but if I were you.. I would ditch the headers and go with gears and a t-lok. Headers aren't going to do anything for.... gears will wake your car up.

+1 to what he said. Headers are mostly for sound, and while shorties add a little long tubes are the best for sound/performance. But gears and t-lok will make more of a difference than headers.

+1 for the headers unless you can't get lts, ie poll. controlled area, shorties are all but a waste, lts are WAY better, and unless you have money to waste on a paper weight DO NOT buy the tb spacer
